Pull-down takes time — plan for it
A freezer body takes noticeably longer than a chiller to reach −18 °C, especially after standing in summer heat above 45 °C. We start the unit well before the truck leaves Musaffah so it arrives at your dock ready, not still catching up.
Reefer containers at KIZAD and Khalifa Port
Frozen imports often leave the port in reefer containers that then need breaking down into store deliveries. Gate and dock queues are common, so we time pick-ups and keep the truck's unit running throughout the wait.
Truck movement limits
Heavy vehicles in Abu Dhabi face peak-hour movement restrictions on the island and on some main roads. We schedule frozen deliveries around them, which is why many of our freezer truck runs happen overnight or early in the morning.
